Need help with QuickTag? We're here for you.
QuickTag supports Excel files (.xlsx, .xls) and CSV files. You can export these from Google Sheets (File → Download), Numbers, Microsoft Excel, or any spreadsheet application. Make sure your file has columns for name and phone number at minimum.
Tap "Import" on the home screen, select your file, and QuickTag will automatically detect your columns. Confirm the mapping (name, phone, email, notes), add an optional tag to remember where these contacts came from, and tap Import. The whole process takes about 30 seconds.
Yes! Google Sheets are fully supported. Just download your sheet first: Open your Google Sheet → File → Download → Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) or CSV. Then import the downloaded file to QuickTag. The download takes just 2 clicks.
A tag is added to each contact's name (e.g., "OpenHouse-Dec7 - Jennifer Park"). When someone calls, you'll instantly see the context—no more awkward "Who is this?" moments. Tags are perfect for events, conferences, open houses, or any situation where you meet multiple people.
Yes! QuickTag offers multiple ways to add contacts: (1) Quick Add - manually type in contact details, (2) Business Card Scanner - use your camera to scan and extract contact info automatically, (3) Voice Input - speak the contact details and QuickTag transcribes them, (4) Add from Phone - tag existing contacts already in your phone.
Open the Card Scanner from the home screen, point your camera at a business card, and tap capture. QuickTag uses on-device text recognition to extract the name, phone, email, and company. Review and edit if needed, then save. All processing happens locally—your card images are never uploaded anywhere.
Create a personal QR code containing your contact information. When someone scans it, they can instantly save your details. You can customize it with your photo and choose which information to include. Perfect for networking events—no more fumbling with business cards.
Yes! After importing contacts, go to your import history, tap on a batch, and use the "Message All" feature. You can send personalized messages to everyone in that group. QuickTag opens each message individually so you maintain that personal touch.
Go to History, find the batch you want to modify, and tap the rename icon. You can change the tag name and it will update across all contacts in that batch. To delete an entire batch (and remove those contacts from your phone), use the delete option.
All data is stored locally on your device only. Contacts are saved to your phone's native contact app (iOS Contacts or Google Contacts). QuickTag never uploads your contacts, notes, or any personal information to external servers. We literally cannot see your data.
Contacts - to save imported contacts to your phone. Camera - for business card scanning (optional). Microphone - for voice-to-text entry (optional). Photo Library - to select images for scanning or your QR profile photo (optional). All features work offline.
Contacts you've imported remain in your phone's native contacts app—they won't be deleted. QuickTag's internal database (import history, batch info) will be removed. You can always reinstall and your phone contacts will still be there.
Free users can import up to 25 contacts total (lifetime). This lets you try all features before committing. Pro subscribers get unlimited contacts, plus all current and future premium features.
Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". This will restore any active subscriptions linked to your Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android). Make sure you're signed in with the same account you used to subscribe.
iOS: Go to iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > QuickTag > Cancel. Android: Go to Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > QuickTag > Cancel. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android), not by us directly. You can request a refund through their respective support channels within their refund policy windows.
Check your phone's native Contacts app—QuickTag saves directly there. If you have multiple contact accounts (iCloud, Google, etc.), make sure you're looking at the right one. Also verify QuickTag has contacts permission in your device settings.
For best results: ensure good lighting, hold the card flat, fill most of the frame, and avoid glare. The scanner works best with clearly printed cards. You can always edit the extracted info before saving.
Make sure QuickTag has microphone permission. Check that you're in a quiet environment—background noise affects accuracy. Speak clearly and include the field name (e.g., "Name: John Smith, Phone: 555-1234"). The feature requires an internet connection for speech recognition.
