Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using QuickTag ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

QuickTag is a mobile application that helps you:

• Import contacts from Excel/CSV files
• Add contacts manually or via voice input
• Scan business cards using OCR technology
• Organize and manage contacts on your device
• Track contact status and interactions

All contact data is stored locally on your device. We do not access, store, or transmit your contacts to any servers.

3. Subscription Plans

3.1 Free Tier

The free version allows you to import up to 25 contacts (lifetime limit). No credit card required.

3.2 Pro Subscriptions

QuickTag offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:

• Pro Weekly: $3.99 per week - Unlimited contacts for 7 days
• Pro Monthly: $9.99 per month - Unlimited contacts for 30 days
• Pro Yearly: $49.99 per year - Unlimited contacts for 365 days

Prices may vary by region and are subject to applicable taxes.

3.3 Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your Apple App Store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings

3.4 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, you will be charged the subscription price when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period expires.

3.5 Cancellation

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• After cancellation, you will retain Pro features until the end of your paid period, then revert to Free tier (25 contact limit)

4. Refund Policy

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be made through Apple's refund system. QuickTag does not process refunds directly.

To request a refund:

• Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
• Sign in with your Apple ID
• Select "Request a Refund"

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when using the App
• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or modify the App
• Not use the App to spam or harass others
• Respect intellectual property rights

6. Data and Privacy

QuickTag is designed with privacy in mind:

• All contact data is stored locally on your device
• We do not collect, access, or transmit your contacts
• We do not require account creation or login
• Payment information is handled by Apple; we never see your payment details

7. Permissions

QuickTag requires the following device permissions:

• Contacts: To read and write contacts to your phone
• Camera: To scan business cards (optional)
• Microphone: For voice-to-text input (optional)
• Storage: To import Excel/CSV files

You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings, but some features may not work without them.

8. Intellectual Property

QuickTag, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by QuickTag. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or redistribute the App
• Use QuickTag's name, logo, or branding without permission
• Create derivative works based on the App

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

QuickTag is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or harmful components
• Results from using the App will meet your requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

QuickTag and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Service interruptions
• Errors in contact information

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the last 12 months.

11. Backup Your Data

While QuickTag stores contacts in your native phone contacts (which are backed up by iCloud or Google), we recommend maintaining your own backups of important contact information. We are not responsible for data loss.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to QuickTag at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or any other reason.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with such laws.

16. Apple App Store Terms

These Terms are between you and QuickTag, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for QuickTag or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for QuickTag.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and QuickTag regarding the use of the App.
